Joining only expat circles. Mixing with Cuencanos through language exchange, dance, or sports produces a richer experience.
Assuming Cuenca is like other Latin American nomad hubs. Compared to Medellín or Mexico City, Cuenca is smaller, quieter, and closes earlier. Adjust expectations accordingly.
