Bars, Nightlife & Social Life
Calle Larga is the main social street in Cuenca. It runs parallel to the Tomebamba river and contains the highest density of bars, restaurants, and cafés. Most places open by 6 PM and close between 11 PM–midnight on weekdays.

Wunderbar Café
Live music Thursday–Saturday evenings. Mix of acoustic, folk, and occasional bands. Operating since the mid-1990s. Cash preferred.
La Mesa Salsa y Son
Cuenca's dedicated salsa venue since 1997. Free salsa classes Wednesday and Friday evenings. Best nights: Wednesday and Friday.
Lacraft Beer Garden
Container-built beer garden with rotating tap list, Jenga, and informal seating.
Negroni
Known for its namesake cocktail. Stylish cocktail-focused evening.
