Water fights in the streets for 3–4 days. Traditional and chaotic.

Understanding how the world's most misnamed hat is made. 45-minute tour, small group.
Traditional cooking experience
A local cook guides you through preparing an Ecuadorian meal, including market shopping. 3–4 hours.
Guided historic center walk
Covers colonial grid, indigenous place names, and social history. 2–3 hours.
Seasonal Weather
Clearest skies, best for hiking and day trips. Daytime 18–22°C.
Afternoon and evening rain is common. Morning activities tend to be clear. Cajas can be foggy.
Cool at altitude (10–14°C). Always carry a light jacket.
